This collection began as an imaginative listening experiment: four musicians in very different places collaborate on the creation of piece of music—without discussion, pre-planning, or the ability to see/hear one another. Instead of being physically co-present, or connected over an audio or video network, our focus was simply to tap into a deep state of listening and imagination as a means of communicating to one another across space and time.

Each collaborator records their own layer, and then all four layers are composited to create the final piece. Each performance incorporates Make Noise's semi-modular synth Strega in addition to other electronic and acoustic instruments and processors.

All proceeds from this release will be donated to Girls Rock Camp Alliance, a global network of youth-centered arts and social justice organizations.
